We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Atlanta, GA. As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including administrative tasks, recruitment, employee relations, compliance, data management, and more. Strong proficiency in spreadsheet management, document creation, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources roles
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes
  • Support employee relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Maintain HR records and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
  • Manage data input and maintain accuracy in HR databases and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate training sessions and development programs for employees
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct research and assist with compensation analysis and benefits administration
  • Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and workforce planning
  • Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics and trends as needed
  • Facilitate effective communication through emails and other forms of correspondence
