About The Position

The HR Specialist - HRBP is the subject matter expert in terms of HR processes and system related updates. This role will provide support through HR analytics, job description updates, employee relations, and overall teammate lifecycle initiatives as directed by the HRBP-Manager. The position involves facilitating HR processes and system processes, acting as a subject matter expert in the company’s HRM, participating in system processing, system enhancement projects, training/onboarding new hires, and providing recommendations to HRIS teams from an end user perspective. The HR Specialist will also support the larger HR Community through developing, maintaining, and updating document templates and SOPs, ensuring changes are communicated and shared with the appropriate Teams and Sharepoint sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications or related field or work equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR or related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills using data.
  • Ability to balance business results and empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate HR processes and system processes, including offer preparation, payroll oversight, and unemployment claims.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the company’s HRM.
  • Participate in system processing and enhancement projects.
  • Train/onboard new hires and provide recommendations to HRIS teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and update document templates and SOPs.
  • Guide, train, and direct business partners on HR policies and processes.
  • Review HR data dashboards and reports to enable data-driven insights.
  • Partner with HRM and Business Leaders to develop, update, or edit job descriptions.
  • Provide first line communications for daily HR issues/questions.
  • Support HRM in developing teammate engagement action and communication plans.
  • Gather employee feedback through lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Assist HRM in performance management actions.
