About The Position
Westminster is a premier retirement community with dedicated and skilled staff, dynamic leadership, innovative services and first class facilities. We are hiring an HR Specialist for our Health Center to be responsible for staffing, interviewing and other HR related functions. Who You Are: The HR Specialist performs a variety of administrative functions for our Health Center and Human Resources teams.

- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter.

- Previous Recruiter or staffing experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Approves and coordinates Paid Time Off (PTO) requests for all hourly Health Center associates.
- Attempts to fill open shifts utilizing PRN associates, or approved agency personnel, during daytime hours.
- Approves time sheets on a weekly basis for all hourly Health Center associates, utilizing UKG Dimensions.
- Posts the schedule for all Health Center associates on a monthly basis, utilizing OnShift.
- Sources resumes, conducts initial interviews and makes hiring recommendations for Certified Nurse Aides and Medication Aides.
- Facilitate orientation and on-boarding programs for all newly hired Health Center associates.
- Alerts manager when associates have excessive tardiness, absences, missed punches, etc.
- Acts as an HR representative for Health Center associates.
- Assists HR Director with investigations, exit interviews, stay interviews, etc.
- Assists with associate recognition events and appreciation.
