About The Position
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an HR & Safety Coordinator to join our client in Bridgeview, IL. This individual will be responsible for organizing safety trainings, managing compliance with safety regulations, and supporting both HR and safety-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring a safe working environment. The HR & Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe workplace by developing and implementing safety plans, policies, and programs to ensure safe working conditions. This position requires conducting job analyses for each position to determine necessary safety gear and physical requirements, as well as performing daily walk-throughs in production to ensure compliance with PPE and food safety gear standards. In addition to safety management, the HR & Safety Coordinator will manage accident reports, file records, and assist in identifying strategies to prevent future incidents. This role also involves managing workers' compensation claims and OSHA logs, acting as the point of contact for all work-related injuries, and coordinating employee appointments and follow-ups. The coordinator will maintain safety committee reports and help reduce workplace accidents, as well as replenish and maintain inventory of employee protective equipment (PPE). Furthermore, the coordinator will coordinate safety and health trainings such as LOTO, PIT Safety Certification, and Fall Protection, and assist in emergency response training, evacuation procedures, and safety committee meetings.
