The HR Risk & Claims Specialist is a cross-functional role responsible for overseeing Workers’ Compensation claim management and ensuring workforce compliance across onboarding, leave administration, payroll alignment, and terminations. This position plays a critical role in reducing organizational risk, preventing payroll and benefit leakage, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. The role partners closely with HR, Safety, Payroll, and Operations to proactively audit workforce data, manage claims, and identify process gaps that create financial or legal exposure. Approximately 50% of the role will focus on Workers’ Compensation claim oversight, with the remaining 50% dedicated to workforce compliance auditing and process integrity.
