HOURS: 7am - 4pm, 4 days/week and one day 7am - 1pm. The HR Representative is Carilion Clinic HR's first point of contact providing employees, applicants, and outside external customers with timely, accurate information and resolutions to problems including sound interpretation and application of HR policies. Receives HR related questions and inquiries through various channels, including via phone, e-mail, intranet and walk-ins. Accurately assesses customer needs and determines whether the inquiry needs to be escalated for resolution. Presents a timely resolution. Assists with administration and implementing HR policies and processes across Carilion Clinic as well as support functions for HR Centers of Expertise (COE). Utilizes available technology and software. Maintains data integrity through accurate and thorough tracking of contacts and resolutions. Provides process improvement ideas and continuously looks for ways to improve processes to more effectively meet customer needs. Meets or exceeds established standards for productivity and accuracy. Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of employee records and issues. Continually develops knowledge of broader HR areas and Carilion Clinic and maintains working knowledge of Human Resources.
