About The Position

Legend Biotech is seeking a HR Project Management Specialist as part of the Human Resources team based in Somerset, NJ. Role Overview The Project Management Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and execution of HR initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with HR leadership, HR functional teams, and Finance to ensure HR projects delivering on time, within scope, and with accurate cost and operational governance. The role also owns several recurring HR operational processes and communication platforms, serving as a central point of coordination for HR programs, events, and administrative activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, HR operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, especially related to budgeting, expense tracking, and documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project tracking tools a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project management for HR initiatives, including planning, timeline tracking, stakeholder coordination, and status reporting.
  • Support HR functional teams in coordinating project activities to help ensure timely delivery and alignment with overall HR priorities.
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation, trackers, and action logs for HR programs.
  • Support to facilitate the monthly HR newsletter, coordinating content contributions, timelines, and distribution.
  • Provide planning and logistics assistance for HR Global Quarterly Town Halls and U.S. Town Halls, including agenda coordination, speaker scheduling, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with the HR Employee Engagement Committee to support engagement initiatives and programs alongside HR leadership.
  • Manage HR purchase orders (POs) and vendor-related administrative processes.
  • Support HR budget management, including monthly reconciliation with Finance, cost tracking, and ensuring accurate cost allocation.
  • Track HR expenses and provide visibility into budget status and variances.
  • Manage HR team expense processes, including expense reports and HR credit card administration and usage tracking.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for HR leadership, including select executive assistant–type activities as needed.
  • Maintain and update organizational charts to reflect organizational changes.
  • Coordinate HR leadership meetings, including scheduling, materials preparation, and meeting logistics.
  • Manage HR share service access and folder organization.
  • Support ad hoc HR operational and administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact to connect HR, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders.
