About The Position

The HR Program Director for Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) at Medtronic serves as a strategic HR Business Partner, providing essential support to the US Sales and Marketing teams. This role focuses on developing and executing talent strategies that align with business goals, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and driving performance through effective HR practices. The HRBP collaborates with various HR Centers of Expertise to ensure a consistent standard of care for employees and to support initiatives in talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and employee relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience supporting a US Sales/Commercial team, or 8+ years' experience with an advanced degree; 7+ years of managerial experience.
  • Deep experience supporting US Commercial teams and understanding the CAS business.
  • Experience in HR strategy development and execution.
  • Experience in developing and implementing large-scale change initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business, I/O Psychology, or Human Resources.
  • Prior experience in the Medical Device or Pharma industry.
  • Exposure to high-performing sales/commercial organizations and best practices in HR.
  • Previous HR leadership roles in a high-growth, fast-paced business.
  • Experience in organizational transformation HR leadership role.
  • Experience in a global, matrix management structure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the talent strategy needed to support the CAS business or function.
  • Leverage the capabilities of HR Centers of Expertise (COE).
  • Execute against the talent strategy and drive business results.
  • Lead organization transformation and partner with CAS leaders to elevate business performance.
  • Design strategic initiatives to ensure organizational effectiveness with a focus on commercial excellence.
  • Provide strategic leadership for effective organization design, structure, and staffing models.
  • Drive organizational health, engagement, inclusion, and culture initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Management COE to develop talent strategies that drive business impact.
  • Engage in regular talent reviews, organization reviews, and career development planning with business leaders.
  • Identify and plan for future talent needs and strengthen succession planning.
  • Consult with CAS leaders on training and development needs within their teams.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition COE to develop recruitment strategies for open positions.
  • Anticipate and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues in collaboration with Employee Relations COE.
  • Implement and communicate Medtronic compensation and benefits programs with Total Rewards COE.
