The position involves developing and interpreting HR policies, conducting compliance reviews, monitoring regulatory changes, and acting as a liaison with legal and corporate compliance bodies. It also entails collaborating with Labor Relations Partners to integrate HR policies with collective bargaining agreements, advising during union negotiations, and supporting grievance processes.
