About The Position

Bethel is looking for an HR Business Partner! This role serves as a people and culture consultant, advising supervisors and employees in the areas of compensation, training, recruitment, performance, employee relations, culture and organizational development. Our HR Business Partners are responsible for aligning employees and supervisors in designated areas with university objectives. A successful candidate will have experience in human resources, take pride in building relationships, support employees, and promote a thriving culture at Bethel! The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.

Requirements

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work well in pressure situations.
  • Must be proficient in Google and/or Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience using an HRIS system.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner.
  • Proven coaching skills.
  • Knowledge of mediation techniques.
  • Must have excellent integrity.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR business partner role or HR generalist role with a focus on employee relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field.
