About The Position
The position involves ensuring company compliance with California state employment laws, rules, regulations, and best practices related to employee compensation. The role includes managing the weekly payroll processing and reconciliation for Wish Farms California, which encompasses troubleshooting entries, reconciling scanners to payroll software, data entry of hourly timecards, and reviewing wages for accuracy. The responsibilities also include processing checks, providing training on the Payroll Tracking System, assisting with new hire orientations, maintaining employee personnel files, and processing payroll-related paperwork. Additionally, the position requires preparing weekly labor reports, performing internal payroll audits, assisting with audits or investigations, managing the offboarding process, and developing written processes for the payroll/HR department. The candidate will participate in weekly meetings to discuss payroll matters and engage with the Wish Farms culture.
