We are seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our Human Resources team at our Ramsey manufacturing facility. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience by supporting payroll processing, HR operations, and employee engagement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years related experience in HR and/or Payroll
  • Open to learning and taking on additional responsibilities
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, analytical and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in Workday and UKG strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business with a focus in Human Resources or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer policy, payroll, benefit, and HR related questions
  • Complete weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing, including maintenance of UKG timekeeping, and accurate recordkeeping of payroll transactions
  • Process all leaves of absence, coordinating all paperwork, communication, and return to work
  • Assist in coordination of employee engagement activities throughout the year
  • Assist in the recruitment & selection process (sourcing, screening and coordination of interviews)
  • Conduct new hire processing (background checks and drug tests) and pre-start communication
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Perform HRIS transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • May conduct training for employees
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing and creating communication and event postings
  • Assist in safety initiatives to lower accidents within the facility
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
