About The Position

The HR Payroll & Benefits Specialist at Nexans is responsible for managing and leading all HR payroll and benefits policies and practices aligned with Nexans USA. This role involves providing a variety of human resource services, including employee relations support, payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with HR policies. The incumbent will also participate in onboarding new hires and act as a liaison between employees and management regarding HR-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Three to five years' experience within the HR field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong HRIS and computer skills, preferably with ADP, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead HR payroll and benefits policies and practices for Nexans USA.
  • Provide human resource services and employee relations support, including HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct payroll processing for employees in Charleston and manage benefits processes for employees across Nexans USA sites.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to address questions regarding company policies, payroll, and benefits.
  • Participate in onboarding new hires and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and attend monthly broker meetings to review benefits performance.
  • Oversee enrollments and ensure accurate benefit information is communicated to employees.
  • Administer Leave of Absence programs and follow up with disability providers.
  • Train supervisors and managers on ADP procedures and payroll processes.
  • Assist in the development and updating of local human resources policies and handbook.
