Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee onboarding processes, including orientation, benefits review, and background checks
  • Handle employee relations issues effectively, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary
  • Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payment for all employees
  • Collaborate with the safety team to promote a culture of workplace safety, administering workers compensation and tracking injuries
  • Maintain constructive relationships with labor unions in the assigned territory, if applicable
  • Administer employee benefits, liaising with providers and handling issues related to Health & Welfare Benefits and 401(k) retirement plans
  • Enhance manager and employee performance by identifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, and providing coaching and counseling
  • Maintain accurate records of the hiring process and employee files.
