About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a high-performing HR professional to fill an HR Partner/Generalist role within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) strategic business unit. This dynamic position involves collaborating with business leaders to implement HR solutions that align with business strategies, focusing on performance management, talent development, and employee relations. The HR Partner will serve as the on-site HR contact for the Huntsville, Alabama location, supporting both domestic and international program areas and executing strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree with 10 years of Human Resource related experience or an advanced degree with 7 years of related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
  • Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance and talent development.
  • Experience in handling employee relations issues and partnering with Employee Relations/Labor Relations.
  • Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong HR and business acumen with experience driving HR strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with multiple HR functional disciplines.
  • Experience supporting international programs or working with Global Mobility/Immigration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conducting presentations.
  • Experience with HR business applications and systems such as Peoplesoft, Workday, and applicant tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Model Employee Advocacy behavior and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees.
  • Act as a key HR focal point in collaboration with RTX's Global Mobility team for expatriate deployments.
  • Represent Human Resources as the HR site lead for Huntsville, driving local HR initiatives.
  • Support critical HR processes including compensation, talent development, performance management, and talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with other HR organizations to achieve business and talent objectives.
  • Support Talent Management strategies including workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Communicate and implement proactive strategies for employee relations and diversity & inclusion.
  • Investigate and resolve Employee Relations issues and Ethics-related case investigations.
