In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders , Comploy employees , and our clients while ensuring our HR practices remain compliant, efficient, and aligned with company goals. You'll manage core HR operational processes, support organizational development initiatives, and contribute to building a positive, high‑performance culture. Your ability to balance people‑centric solutions with risk-aware decision-making will be essential to your success. You will work across functions to streamline processes, improve employee experience, and support growth through thoughtful HR strategies. This is an opportunity to shape HR infrastructure, influence organizational culture, and make a meaningful impact as the company scales. This role is based on-site at our Denver, CO office and requires in-person presence to support collaboration and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience , with a strong blend of HR operations, business partnering, and employee relations.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and compliance across federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Experience supporting or advising multiple client groups - consulting or fractional HR experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HR processes end‑to-end , including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, and policy development.
  • Proven experience in organizational development , talent management, or change management initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate sensitive situations.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution , especially in a fast‑moving or growing environment.
  • Analytical mindset , able to use data to identify trends, provide insights, and guide decision‑making.
  • High level of discretion and judgment , particularly regarding confidential information and employee relations matters.
  • Tech-savvy , with proficiency in HRIS platforms, reporting tools, and modern workplace systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize the company's fractional HR services framework, including service tiers, scope of definitions, delivery standards , and scalable processes that ensure high quality support for our clients.
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to leaders by providing guidance on org design, workforce planning, talent development, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining clear, scalable policies and practices.
  • Oversee core HR operations , including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data integrity, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Support organizational development initiatives , such as performance management cycles, talent assessments, competency frameworks, and leadership development.
  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, performance issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Implement and improve HR processes that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor HR risks and proactively recommend solutions , ensuring decisions balance people, culture, and compliance needs.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and other teams to align HR initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Provide HR metrics and insights to support data‑driven decision-making and leadership alignment.
  • Provide fractional HR support to select external clients , delivering expert HR guidance, compliance alignment, and operational support as part of our extended service offerings.
