About The Position

The HR Operations Site Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day human resources operations at the CARTHAGE campus. This role ensures the consistent delivery of HR services, policies, and procedures, and partners with additional site leadership to support organizational goals related to staffing, compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or combination of experience and degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Prior experience in an HR generalist or operations role preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting a plus.
  • Experience working with and helping negotiate collective bargaining agreements preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for site-level employees and managers, delivering guidance on HR policies, processes, and programs.
  • Lead and coordinate HR operational activities at the site, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and personnel changes.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Relations teams to implement HR strategies and support business needs.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and the Vice President for Human Resources to ensure workforce planning, employee engagement, and performance management are effectively executed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage HR metrics and dashboards for the site (e.g., headcount, turnover, compliance training, etc.).
  • Provide coaching and support to managers regarding employee performance, discipline, and development.
  • Coordinate internal investigations in partnership with Employee Relations, when needed.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and corporate HR to facilitate resolution of issues and promote HR best practices.
  • Lead or support HR initiatives at the site level.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity.
