About The Position

The HR Operations and Compliance Specialist will provide administrative support to the HR staff, employees, and managers across Wingspan Care Group and its affiliates. This position requires excellent time management, communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while prioritizing their workload. He or she will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. The HR Operations and Compliance Specialist must be able to network and build relationships and provide primary administrative support while working on other projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.

  • Experience: 0-2 years’ work or internship experience in Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first point of contact to Agency employees by answering questions and providing guidance as needed, in accordance with human resources rules and regulations.
  • Timely process all personnel transactions, including employee data changes such as hires, transfers, salary changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • File and maintain confidential documents (hard and soft copies) as well as employee files to ensure all information is updated and stored accordingly.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR administrative functions and duties; including but not limited to, staff credentialing and privileging, worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, contractor onboarding and file maintenance, and Relias Learning Management Software.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to employees and Finance (time off, bonus, leaves, etc). This includes but is not limited to utilizing the Agency’s payroll and timekeeping electronic platforms.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Agency systems through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable legal, licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of required regulatory audits by ensuring that all required employee files contain all necessary and updated information.
