About The Position

The HR Operations Analyst supports the HR team by managing the documentation of core HR processes, policies, procedures and providing reporting to support compliance, data-informed decision-making, as well as improving organizational efficiency with a goal to help enhance the employee experience as well as contributing to the organization’s overall success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
  • 4+ years of experience administering payroll.
  • Knowledge and experience with payroll calculation and processing.
  • Expert knowledge of the ADP Workforce Now HRIS system
  • Knowledge of current Federal, State and local labor laws, tax requirements and payroll regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite software.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient, including advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll and Time Management- Support multi-jurisdiction payroll processing bi-weekly, including documentation and on-going maintenance of current procedures.
  • Benefits Support- Provide basic administrative support for benefits programs; respond to level one employee inquiries as needed. Primary contact for new and ongoing leave case management and all corresponding compliance documentation; point person for interactive leave discussions with employees and managers as appropriate.
  • Process documentation- Maintain and update HR process and procedure documentation to support consistent execution and compliance.
  • HR Accounts Payable- Managing and maintaining Concur vendor payment processes for HR team. Ensuring HR billables are paid in accordance with requirements; confirming invoices are accurate based on contracts as well as helping to ensure HR team is in line with the target budget.
  • Cyclical HR programs- Support recurring HR processes such as open enrollment and performance management, including communications, tracking and coordination.
  • Reporting and analytics- Working with HRIS, generate recurring reports, support ad-hoc requests and applicable dashboards; analyze trends; recommend report enhancements that support data-informed decisions related to recruitment, retention and employee engagement.
  • Compliance- Support compliance with company policies and applicable federal and state employment laws; assist with audits and documentation as required.
  • HR policy guidance- Provide employees with guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
  • Data analysis- Collect, structure, and analyze HR data to identify trends and deliver insights that inform decision-making.
  • Collaboration- Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • HR systems- Maintain working knowledge of HRIS and related tools; support data integrity and effective system use. Point of contact for all change of employee status process forms.
  • Process improvement- Assist HR initiatives and process enhancements to boost efficiency and improve employee experience.
