About The Position

The HR Operations Analyst is a pivotal role within the organization, primarily responsible for supporting the administration of Payroll and Total Rewards. This position involves a comprehensive analysis of data to ensure compliance with various regulations while contributing to the development of policies and practices aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating associates. The incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of payroll and HR operations processes, particularly in relation to outside third-party administrators and internal departments. In addition to payroll administration, the HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for fulfilling monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting requirements related to Payroll. This includes developing, analyzing, and providing summaries of budget projections and models concerning payroll allocations. The role also entails reconciling payroll and benefits data, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping. The analyst will generate and distribute periodic financial, statistical, and operational reports to key stakeholders, including Accounting and Treasury, and will be involved in reconciling the General Ledger from payroll to budget accounting. Regular audits of benefits and payroll data will be conducted to ensure accuracy and to resolve any discrepancies that may arise. The HR Operations Analyst will also provide support during internal and external payroll and total rewards audits. Furthermore, the role includes reporting and analyzing compensation and benefits data to support the total rewards strategy and delivery. The analyst will create, update, and maintain job descriptions, coordinate and complete compensation and benefits surveys, and present results and analyses to stakeholders. Additionally, the position is responsible for bonus calculations and coordinating the payment authorization process, as well as developing and maintaining HR operations policies and process documentation. Monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations, such as FLSA, ERISA, FMLA, and state leave laws, is also a critical aspect of this role.
