About The Position

The HR Manager at Smash Park Entertainment Group is responsible for fostering a positive company culture, supporting talent development, and managing day-to-day HR functions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, focusing on employee relations, talent development, and HR administration.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, including employee engagement, benefits administration, performance management, and recruitment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite; ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or similar HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and champion the company culture, ensuring alignment with Smash Park's core values.
  • Implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive, inclusive workplace.
  • Support employee recognition initiatives and maintain ongoing feedback loops.
  • Manage the recruitment process in partnership with a third-party agency, from job postings to interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring an effective orientation experience.
  • Design and implement training programs in collaboration with leadership and the Learning & Development Manager.
  • Contribute to performance management initiatives, including performance reviews and professional development plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and addressing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Support payroll, compensation, and benefits processes, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Assist leadership in addressing employee relations matters and improving workplace satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that support organizational growth.
  • Stay updated with changes in employment laws and HR best practices, ensuring compliance.
  • Utilize HRIS systems and technology tools to improve HR efficiency.
