Position Summary: As an HR Business Partner Manager, you will play a key on-site leadership role as a thought partner to aligned business leadership and their teams. In this role, you will be responsible for building successful relationships with their business partners to execute strategy that will positively impact the Supply Chain Network. Operating within the Human Resources consulting model, you will have the opportunity to work closely with division HRBPS, HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Shared Services (HRSS), to execute site specific responsibilities including workforce planning, talent acquisition, training, change management, compensation, colleague engagement, culture, and enterprise HR initiatives. This position is based on-site at Jersey City, NJ Distribution Center location and partial at Lumberton, NJ Distribution Center

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach at all levels of leadership
  • Effective organization and planning skills as well as proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business challenges into HR solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (including plane travel)

Responsibilities

  • Executes the HR strategy to address the current and future direction of their team
  • Cascades site policy/practice initiatives
  • Coaches and develops leaders to optimize performance
  • Efficiently manages multiple and changing HR priorities and trends
  • Evaluates the impact of site programs/strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of team members
  • Works with COEs, leveraging enterprise resources and expertise to support site
  • Effectively leverages and shares key insights and actions based on HR data and metrics
  • In partnership with Talent Acquisition, implements proactive staffing strategies to ensure talent goals are met
  • Leverages tools and data resources to optimize organizational effectiveness (people, process, policy)
  • Recognizes, articulates, and helps shape site culture
  • Supports leader and colleague focus on engagement activities
  • Facilitates finding HR solutions for difficult/urgent situations
  • Facilitates dialogue and discussion to align others on company values and related imperatives
