About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience and a strong background in a tech startup environment. This role will focus primarily on human resources management while also involving aspects of recruitment and office management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within a tech startup
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Proven recruiting skills with a focus on identifying and attracting top talent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with HR software and tools

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals
  • Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
  • Utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry
  • Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and logistics to ensure a productive work environment
  • Assist with organizing company-wide events and employee celebrations
  • Support facilities management to maintain office operations smoothly
