This role ensures compliance with employment laws and safety regulations, oversees staffing and workforce planning, and promotes employee engagement across all shifts. The HR Manager partners with leadership to build a safe, productive, and positive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required.
  • HR Certification (SHRM, PHR, etc) required.
  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, operations, or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work with and build trust with employees and leadership.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR team and their initiatives.
  • Partner with departments to align HR initiatives with production goals.
  • Support the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding for hourly, skilled trade, and salaried employees.
  • Manage compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Support and coach supervisors/managers on employee relations, corrective actions, and performance management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts fairly.
  • Assess future workforce needs and provide input to senior leadership.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and leave programs accurately and in compliance with policy.
  • Develop and implement training programs, including safety, compliance, and leadership development.
  • Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement, recommending improvements.
  • Manage investigations, documentation, and reporting of workplace incidents.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the facility.
  • Ensure consistency and effectiveness of HR practices across organization.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and HR best practices with an expectation to initiate improvements to policies, practices, and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
