About The Position

To develop, coordinate and administer all Human Resources processes, policies, and procedures . To e nsure effective programs in support of the strategic business objecti ves of HEXPOL .

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration , Management . Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Seven (7) y ears of leadership experience in Human Resource position, p referably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to handle personal and confidential information .
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer/systems skills – MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
  • Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilities.
  • High degree of concentration , attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant .
  • Ability to manage, coach and develop Associates.
  • Ability to interact well with all personality types in a leadership role.
  • Strong cooperation , collaboration, and team - building skills .
  • Effective analytical and problem - solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvement .

Nice To Haves

  • SPHR or PHR and/or SH RM -CP Certificate , preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment , selection process and new hire orientation for all Associates
  • Respond to Associate inquiries and advise/mentor Management to appropriate resolution of Associate-related issues .
  • Counsel Associate s regarding job-related issues, polic i es, procedures, and disciplinary actions including terminati o ns.
  • Provide final approval of bi-weekly payroll utilizing HRIS and AOD/ADP timekeeping systems .
  • Administer Benefit P rograms conducting Open Enrollment meetings and assisting Associates .
  • Coordinate Associate Relations Events/Programs to promote Associate morale , m otivation, and foster relationships .
  • Work directly with Environmental Health and Safety Manager or designee on Workers’ Compensation, OSHA Safety needs .
  • Prepare various internal and external reports/data as requested by Management and r epresent H uman Resources for internal external ISO audits .
  • Prepare various communications to keep Associates informed of relevant information.
  • P articipate in relevant training opportunities to maintain knowled ge of industry trends and employment legislation .
  • Supervise the personnel of the Human Resource department, if applicable .
  • Travel to other HEXPOL locations may be .
  • Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management .
