About The Position

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Serve as the primary point of contact for team member relations matters, including intake, investigation, and resolution of complaints Conduct and oversee investigations related to workplace concerns; partner with leadership to resolve issues and mitigate risk Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements Support labor relations activities, including contract administration, negotiations preparation, and related analysis Lead, develop, and oversee Team Member Relations staff; manage performance, scheduling, and service delivery standards Monitor team performance using KPIs and SLAs to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality outcomes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO and affirmative action requirements Oversee recordkeeping and prepare required reports and documentation related to employee relations and labor activities Advise and train leaders on employee relations practices, conflict resolution, and policy application Provide guidance on employment law and workplace policies Use personal device/cellular phone for related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to: Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment and labor laws Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and collective bargaining agreements Strong knowledge of employee relations and dispute resolution practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain tactful, calm, and effective in sensitive or high-pressure situations Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to communicate effectively in English Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). HRCI Certified Professional of Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR). Ability to effectively communicate in another language (i.e. bilingual in English and Spanish). Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience: At least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. 5 years of experience in employee relations and/or labor relations. 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to obtain job-specific required licenses.
