About The Position

The HR Manager at Sealed Air in Iowa Park, TX, is responsible for supporting and executing various tactical aspects of the HR function. This role focuses on enhancing employee engagement, managing performance and talent, ensuring compliance with HR laws, and implementing HR initiatives that align with the company's goals. The HR Manager will work closely with local practices and business processes to foster a high-performance culture and drive organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist/Manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, principles, and practices.
  • Proficient in analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to influence and build effective relationships within the organization.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ADP.
  • Self-directed and motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in leading organizational change initiatives and HR processes.
  • PHR or similar certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute tactical aspects of the HR function.
  • Manage positive employee and labor relations, including union avoidance and collective bargaining.
  • Oversee performance and talent management processes, including employee development and succession planning.
  • Administer total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits.
  • Facilitate learning and organizational capability initiatives, such as training and leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with government and legislative requirements, and conduct internal investigations.
  • Implement policy and process changes in collaboration with legal and HR operations teams.
  • Drive HR initiatives related to diversity and inclusion, retention analysis, and other strategic goals.
