About The Position

The HR Manager at McDonald's will serve as a key partner in the Center HR team, providing HR business partnership and support to corporate functional leadership and staff. This role focuses on enhancing people management capabilities, particularly in areas such as compensation, performance management, employee relations, and staff development, while collaborating with global teams to drive strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR Generalist or Business Partner role.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting a globally dispersed workforce.
  • Comfort presenting to executives.
  • Experience with employee relations and legal investigations in the US.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to use workforce datasets to design and drive people programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with adaptability to audience needs.
  • Proven relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Adept at collaboration and aligning resources to achieve outcomes.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering group presentations.
  • High proficiency in Excel and comfort with Word, PowerPoint, and collaborative technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of Global Technology strategic plans to ensure results.
  • Advise and coach functional leaders on organizational decisions to align with people strategies.
  • Assess gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities and drive appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate and execute talent planning activities with a focus on team development.
  • Collaborate with HR and Legal colleagues on employment contracts and employee relations matters.
  • Work with recruiting and rewards partners on talent selection and job descriptions.
  • Align efforts of functional partners with other corporate departments.
  • Provide change management and training on HR policies and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage HR Operations support for Global Functions.
  • Utilize HR platforms to maximize efficiency.
  • Craft client-ready communications, presentations, and data reports.
  • Manage special projects across the HR team and engage partners.
  • Support a culture of inclusion and engagement within the HR team and functions.
  • Support talent transformation activities for the business function.
