About The Position

The Human Resources-Learning and Development Intern will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to define competencies and determine functional training requirements. The intern will identify training content providers and evaluate product offerings, structure training content programs to support employee development, design and deliver stakeholder communications related to competence and training program implementation, and implement program content in the learning management system (LMS). Other projects may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college; Human Resources or Learning and Development related field preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • General knowledge of human resources and an understanding of related policies.
  • General knowledge of learning and development principles and best practices.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and respectful of highly confidential information.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels including leadership/executive teams.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Experience in graphic design or related visual communication disciplines.
  • Strong technical and analytical competency.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual, with a self-directed attitude that can work in a creative and collaborative environment.
