About the position

Join our team at Carlisle Companies in Carlisle, PA as an HR Intern and help power the people behind our business. You won't just be observing-you'll be contributing directly to core HR operations like onboarding, employee support, process improvements, and more. Responsibilities

  • Assist with new hire onboarding - sending welcome emails, prepping swag bags, and coordinating orientations.
  • Schedule employee check-ins and track engagement touchpoints.
  • Help with I-9 verification, document tracking, and digital file management.
  • Respond to employee inquiries via our shared HR inbox and route issues to the right team members.
  • Maintain and organize personnel records and job descriptions.
  • Support our employee recognition program and intranet communications.
  • Pitch in on HR process improvements, updates to SOPs, and special projects.
  • Join team meetings and see what a collaborative HR team looks like in action.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, or clerical work.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and written communication.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and navigating HR systems (experience with HRIS or ATS is a bonus!).
