Position Overview The HR Summer Intern will support the Human Resources department in a variety of administrative and project-based tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in core HR functions, including recruitment support, onboarding coordination, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will gain valuable exposure to HR best practices while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Some related experience preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Currently Attending a College or University
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • The HR Intern will support our HR Manager in day-to-day human resources operations, focusing on administrative, recruitment, and employee engagement tasks
  • Review and finalize employee job descriptions
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates
  • Prepare onboarding materials (welcome packets, logins, documents) and update Onboarding Presentation
  • Assist in quarterly compliance audits and maintain personnel records
  • Keep training completion records updated
  • Book training sessions and send invitations
  • Format and distribute updated HR policies
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files
  • Maintain and organize master training matrix
  • Support with benefit changes and master data files in Workday
