About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will perform a variety of services as outlined herein and back-up for other areas outlined herein, as well as, policy/procedure interpretation and administration, employee relations, counseling, investigations, FMLA and ADA compliance and record keeping.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with focus in HR or Employee Relations or a recent graduate.

Responsibilities

  • Greet employees, answer employee inquiries and/or refer them to the appropriate person.
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation and on-boarding.
  • Make employee badges.
  • I-9 entry and compliance.
  • Enter and modify employees in various HR systems.
  • Create and maintain personnel folders.
  • Assist with attendance policy.
  • Conduct interviews for various positions.
  • Assist HR department with data entry and collection.
  • Maintain manpower reports.
  • Maintain emergency contact list.
  • Provide back-up within the department and perform other duties as assigned.
