About The Position

The HR Information Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures the accuracy of employee data, supports HR processes, and provides detailed reporting to HR leadership. The specialist acts as a key resource for efficient use of HR technology and data management.

Requirements

  • AA degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in Human Resources field is required.
  • Knowledge in HR processes and practices.
  • Experience in HRIS systems implementation or integrations is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suites and data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Must be able to type 25 wpm.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment and multi-task as needed and required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with implementation of new features or modules.
  • Configure workflows, templates, and fields within the HRIS to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements.
  • Implement enhancements to streamline HR processes such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, and performance management.
  • Work closely with HR and act as liaison for departments to ensure seamless data integration and process alignment.
  • Analyze data trends and provide insights to HR and leadership teams.
  • Support audits by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of employee data reports.
  • Act as point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and employees on system use and best practices.
  • Develop user guides and documentation to assist in system navigation and troubleshooting.
