About The Position

CEI Engineering is hiring a Human Resources Generalist at our corporate office in Bentonville, AR. The Human Resources Generalist with limited supervision, is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting and light generalist responsibilities for the Company. The ideal candidate will work closely with Leadership to determine staffing needs, develop recruiting plans, source and assess candidates, formulate offer letters while assisting with other HR functions. HR functions include organizational development/training, policy interpretation and administration, employee relations, compensation, benefits and other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (4 year) degree in Human Resources or related field. Five (5) years HR experience may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years human resources experience required.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data for enhanced reporting and making appropriate business recommendations.
  • Strong ability to write and prepare reports, charts, and graphs.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with others in order to coach and lead and interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and ability to occasionally travel overnight

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Manage onboarding process including background checks, pre-employment drug screenings, and reference checks
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure new hires get assimilated quickly into the company
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment, enroll new hires in company benefits and 401K program
  • Advise employees on company policy and procedures, employment laws, and company best practices
  • Effectively administers the compensation and benefit changes associated with personnel transactions, including merit increases, promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Communicates with other team members of the HR department to ensure accuracy of the HRIS files/system. Create monthly and annual reports
  • Prepare and manage performance appraisals ensuring consistency with current compensation practice
  • Process and reconcile monthly billings from benefit providers
  • Lead employee awards and recognition program
  • Administer exit interviews and off boarding activities
  • Other duties as assigned
