About The Position

The HR Generalist at CJ Foodville USA is responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support and administration. This role encompasses various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance with employment laws, and office management. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that the company adheres to all relevant regulations and best practices while fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• More than 2 years of HR experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to employment.
• Knowledge in LOA, FMLA, Workers Compensation administration, Safety, and HRIS.
• Service-minded and outside-the-box thinkers.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in English and Korean is a must.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full recruitment life cycle for all departments, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references, and onboarding qualified candidates.
• Support HR Manager in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Administer company benefits such as ACA compliance, COBRA, and provide general support for benefit inquiries.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with strategies for recruiting, orientation, talent retention, training, and new hire orientation/offboarding.
• Answer employee questions and address employee concerns regarding company policies, safety, and training.
• Work closely with staffing agencies to manage temporary staff.
• Plan corporate events, manage monthly supplies, and prepare for company meetings.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned, such as handling 1095-C Forms.
