OHC, Oncology Hematology Care, the premier provider for patients with cancer and blood disorders in Greater Cincinnati for over 40 years, seeks an HR professional for the HR Generalist role in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position will be based in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, customer-focused and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. OHC offers nationally recognized clinical trials to help achieve groundbreaking advancements in the treatment of cancer.   • Provide information to employees and other stakeholders related to HR functions including recruitment and selection, advertising and sourcing candidates, interviewing, conducting new employee orientation, supporting employee requests, maintaining policies, coaching for performance management and HR compliance.
  • Promote employee engagement and a culture of excellence focused on patient care.
  • Review and discuss approved Personnel Requisitions and job description with hiring manager to determine the jobs specific requirements, interview team, discuss timeline, potential compensation, etc.
  • Identify applicant sources, prepare job posting materials, and draft advertisements.
  • Source resumes and screen against minimum qualifications.
  • Schedule candidate interviews with hiring manager and interview team.
  • Conduct post-interview feedback sessions or obtain candidate assessment from interview team.
  • Extend verbal job offer to selected candidate and coordinate the offer package preparation.
  • Provide consultation to employees and management on human resource management issues.
  • Investigate employee relation issues, identify issues, and recommend resolutions.
  • Conduct exit interviews, summarize findings, and write executive overview.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of both federal and state employment laws.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (ideally WorkDay and iCims) and other computer systems.
  • Professional HR certification.
