About The Position

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a dynamic and fast-growing joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, is seeking a results-driven HR Generalist to support execution of major defense programs—most notably the Iron Dome AUR production, Marine Corp Medium Range Intercept (MRIC) and future Air Defense systems. We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support our manufacturing facility and partner closely with operations leadership. This role is critical to maintaining a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe, productive, and engaged workforce. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the plant floor, confident handling employee relations, and experienced in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proven experience handling employee relations and working with frontline supervisors
  • Ability to work on-site and regularly engage with employees on the production floor
  • Ability to work at a high level with minimal supervision
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding HR-related questions, concerns, and policy interpretation
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Support a positive workplace culture aligned with company values and operational goals
  • Coordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts, including job postings, interviews, and selection
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and staffing plans
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into the facility
  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Support audits, reporting, and compliance training as required
  • Assist leaders with performance management processes, coaching, and documentation
  • Support training initiatives, including compliance, safety, and leadership development
  • Track and report on HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and employee engagement
  • Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll-related questions
  • Help ensure consistent application of pay practices and policies
