About The Position

Spare Time Entertainment is a family-owned entertainment company operating 18 locations across 12 states. We’re focused on building consistent, people-first HR operations that support our teams and leaders across a growing, multi-state organization. Our goal is to create reliable, well-run HR processes that make things easier for employees and managers alike. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the backbone of HR operations. As an HR Generalist, you’ll support day-to-day HR functions with a strong focus on onboarding, benefits administration, employee data accuracy, and consistent execution. You’ll be a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping ensure a smooth, organized, and supportive HR experience across the business. This is an in-person role suited for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HR Operations role
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience supporting onboarding and benefits administration
  • Comfortable working in a multi-location or multi-state environment
  • HRIS experience and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires across multiple locations
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of all new hire documentation and compliance requirements
  • Maintain employee records and data integrity within HR systems
  • Support employee transitions, including role changes and offboarding
  • Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions
  • Coordinate with brokers and vendors to help resolve benefits-related issues
  • Ensure accurate employee data to support payroll processing
  • Assist with maintaining HR policies and procedures across multiple states
  • Support compliance with federal and state labor requirements
  • Track and maintain required HR documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR questions
  • Partner with managers to support a consistent employee experience
  • Escalate complex employee relations matters as needed
  • Run standard HR reports and maintain internal trackers
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows
  • Support audits and internal reviews
