Requirements

• 3+ years of HR experience, ideally supporting hourly/non-exempt populations
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and applicable state regulations)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday or UKG

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments is a plus
• HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting and staffing logistics, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process
• Own onboarding and offboarding experiences, creating a positive first and last impression for employees
• Maintain and manage HRIS systems, including payroll, PTO, and benefits administration
• Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
• Support leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation) with accuracy and care
• Drive employee engagement through wellness initiatives, recognition programs, and feedback efforts
• Collaborate with regional and corporate HR teams on broader initiatives and best practices
