Requirements

  • HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions including State Hiring Laws, Onboarding, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA, ADA
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze data, create reports, and provide actionable insights
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies and workplace issues
  • Support employee relations investigations and performance improvement plans
  • Partner with managers on onboarding, offboarding, and performance reviews
  • Answer benefits and policy-related questions with clarity and care
  • Analyze HR metrics to support business decisions and compliance efforts
  • Other duties as assigned
