As an HR Generalist at Blockaid, you will play a critical role in scaling our organization by partnering closely with leaders while owning core people processes end to end. This role blends HR Business Partner responsibilities with hands-on Talent Acquisition, supporting our go-to-market (GTM) teams and broader organization as we grow. This is a high-impact, builder role for someone who enjoys operating at both the strategic and execution levels in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations within high-growth startups or tech companies.
  • Hands-on experience combining HRBP responsibilities with full-cycle recruiting, ideally supporting GTM or commercial teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with managers and senior leaders.
  • Solid understanding of core HR practices including performance management, employee relations, and basic employment law.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and execution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to GTM leaders and managers, supporting them across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to development, performance, and retention.
  • Coach managers on people leadership topics including performance management, feedback, engagement, and team effectiveness.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations topics, ensuring issues are handled thoughtfully, consistently, and in line with company values and local labor laws.
  • Own and execute full-cycle recruitment for GTM and other business-critical roles, balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, align on hiring priorities, and drive efficient hiring processes.
  • Proactively source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and other creative sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring timely communication, strong stakeholder alignment, and a best-in-class employer brand experience.
  • Support core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and HR systems
  • Contribute to employer branding and people initiatives that strengthen Blockaid’s culture and employee engagement.
