About The Position

The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for providing human resources support and services to the Sidman facility. In addition, the HR Generalist will assist the Sr. HR Manager with the day-to-day HR operations for the exterior & distribution region.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable developing and conducting group presentations to employees.

  • Ability to ensure all levels of leadership are in compliance with State and Federal labor laws
  • Ability to assess escalation needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience
  • 2-3 years HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience handling and resolving a wide range of employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll function for the facility and provide support to additional locations as needed.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and compliant new hire experience.
  • Address and resolve employee questions and concerns by partnering closely with HR Shared Services and plant leadership.
  • Serve as a key HR partner to plant leadership, offering guidance on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
  • Conduct thorough and timely employee relations investigations.
  • Manage responses to Unemployment and Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • In consultation with the HR Manager, assist plant leaders with administering corrective action and managing performance.
  • Promote consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures across the facility.
  • Facilitate effective employee communication to drive clarity, engagement, and understanding.
  • Assit with planning and execution of employee engagement events and activities.
  • Participate in corporate initiatives, projects, and cross-functional HR efforts.
  • Coach and develop plant leaders on HR processes, procedures, and performance management best practices.
  • Support the HR Manager with broader HR initiatives and strategic objectives.
