About The Position

Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting multiple lines of roles and responsibilities such as: Benefits administration, performance management, recruitment, employment processing/on boarding, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, training, employment law compliance, payroll, development and implementation for both policy/procedure and Affirmative Action plans.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred experience of Onboarding and Offboarding activities
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • HRMS experience desired
  • PHR or SPHR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Performs benefits administration
  • Recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and Interns
  • Understanding of FLSA and Multi-state payroll regulations
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Manage company leave programs by effectively interpreting FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities
  • Annual reporting, such as OSHA, EEO-1 and Vet 100/A
  • Handles employee relations counseling, investigations, and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) preparation
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to work through progressive discipline as needed
  • Advise employees and supervisors about company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management
  • Administration of human resource programs as assigned
  • Identify potential issues in a proactive and timely manner
  • Familiarity with Affirmative Action and OFCCP compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
