About The Position

Amentum is seeking an HR Generalist for the Space Force Range Contract at Patrick Space Force Base. Essential Functions · Provide support in all areas of human resources (HR) · Data entry and maintenance of employee information in HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure employee information is accurate and current · Coordinate and collaborate with Talent Acquisition as needed · Collaborate with HR Team to complete and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation and employee separation activities · Prepare reports in accordance with legislative requirements or organizational needs to provide appropriate parties with necessary human resources information · Communicate with HR team and management to ensure receipt of timely and accurate employment and separation information · Basic administrative duties for HR department to include data compilation, report and presentation preparation and more · Organize and assist with training, company morale events, employee engagement initiatives and other special projects · Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two or more years of experience working with human resources principles and practices, and human resources information systems (HRIS)
  • Elevated administrative experience, to include presentation building and report creation, which requires Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance requirements, such as FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to understand and apply federal, state and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to human resources
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting payroll and benefits preferred
  • Experience with Workday preferred
