About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations, providing a wide range of human resources services to employees and management, and contributing to the overall success of WORLDPAC LLC. (620). This role ensures HR programs and policies are administered consistently and effectively, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide excellent customer service to employees at all levels.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Ultimate Software) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution; provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with various stages of the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks; facilitate new employee onboarding activities and paperwork to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records; assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and inquiries; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Provide support for performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action; assist managers in addressing performance-related issues.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of training programs; identify training needs and recommend solutions to enhance employee skills and development.
  • Utilize and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Assist in the communication and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR functions.
