Position Overview What You’ll Do: The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department including facilitating and managing employee relations, supporting payroll process and timecard management, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR practices.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of human resource experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists formal investigations of employee complaints.
  • Recommends appropriate resolution and reviews with HR management when necessary.
  • Corrective action review
  • Conducts exit interviews in a timely manner, analyzes, and summarizes data periodically for leadership review.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists employees with payroll related issues as needed.
  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; Rate changes, position movement, terminations.
  • Assist in the execution of the Human Resources strategic plan in support of the overall business unit and corporate strategic direction.
  • Work closely with general management to understand business issues and opportunities and assist them in developing and implementing HR initiatives to address those opportunities.
  • Evaluates and edits policies/procedures as needed.
  • Conducts HR metrics reporting
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Partner with HRBP Lead employee engagement initiatives.
  • Supports the recruiting and interviewing processes and owns onboarding experience.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
