In this role, you will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of core HR services to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with Clarios Manufacturing System (CMS) principles, corporate policies, and plant operations. Your primary focus will be on enhancing employee engagement, safety, health, and productivity while ensuring adherence to company policies within a battery manufacturing facility. You will perform a variety of employment-related functions aimed at fostering a positive work environment and ensuring employee compliance with established guidelines. Your responsibilities will include conducting hourly recruitment for open positions, following established processes in accordance with Affirmative Action requirements. You will maintain necessary documentation, including electronic records that support Affirmative Action, Attendance, Vacation, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Additionally, you will conduct new hire onboarding and orientation using standardized materials, create and maintain personnel records, and support the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and related policies. You will also assist with plant compliance with Federal and State employment and labor laws, provide training and support for various e-tools such as HR Atlas, Workday, Sharepoint, Performance Management, and Survey Action Planning. As the first point of contact for hourly employees, you will conduct investigations for employee relation issues and may influence and make recommendations to management. This role may also involve directing the work of support staff and formulating human resources projects as needed.
