About The Position

Goosehead is seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, providing support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct background checks and reference checks.
  • Facilitate the new employee onboarding process, including orientation and HRIS system introduction.
  • Process immigration documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment processes.
  • Liaise with benefits providers as needed.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support the implementation of the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Assist managers and employees with performance-related matters.
  • Identify employee training and development needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
  • Track employee training records.
  • Maintain and update employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of employee terminations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
