About The Position

The HR Generalist at Wellpath plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and staff development. This position is integral to fostering a supportive work environment that prioritizes the well-being of both employees and the underserved patients they serve. The HR Generalist will also be involved in ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies while promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in human resources required.
• Experience working with an HR Information System (HRIS) and/or an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances and performance issues, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Oversee staff development and training, including communicating opportunities and ensuring accurate training records and timely onboarding.
• Drive employee retention through recognition programs and special events, while coordinating with unemployment vendors and managing separation information.
• Review pre-boarding documentation, assist with background checks, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting efforts and career fairs.
• Partner with leadership to manage staffing needs, position control, and open requisitions in the ATS system.
