About The Position

As we continue to grow and expand, we seek a talented HR Generalist with strong credentialing specialist experience to join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced human resources generalist who can serve as both an HR assistant to our team and a credentialing specialist for our providers. In this role, you will manage the full credentialing process, support HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in human resources, a background in credentialing, and strong organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, human resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of credentialing experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of credentialing regulations, processes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with URAC and NCQA credentialing guidelines.
  • Experience working as an HR generalist, human resources generalist, or HR assistant.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credentialing software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging.
  • Act as a credentialing specialist to ensure compliance with URAC, NCQA, and other accrediting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files, databases, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with providers, internal departments, and external organizations to complete credentialing requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate credentialing committee meetings, including agendas, scheduling, and meeting minutes.
  • Document and distribute minutes to leadership and staff.
  • Support human resources initiatives including onboarding, compliance, employee training, and HR reporting.
  • Assist with HR generalist responsibilities such as employee relations, policy implementation, and performance management.
  • Provide day-to-day support to staff as an HR assistant, ensuring consistency in HR processes and credentialing workflows.
